    water rentention help

I plan to start 8weeks out of my first show coming up in mid April. My coach asked me if I wanted any lasix for water retention help. I have read quite a bit and wanted to get some outside advice. I was instructed to take one 20mg tab daily for the two days prior to the show. Does anyone have any personal experience, info, or advice on this.

I'd avoid lasix....Not stuff to mess around with. Better to try some dandlion root and uva ursi.

I just bought some lasix while in mexico (very bloated), it basically made me pee like 20 times in 4 hours. I liked aquaban and I think its called Dierutic, or something like that from wallgreens.

Is it really bad to mess with Lasix Jodie? Why?

Jillie its bad in contest because your depleteting your body of water anyways, then when you add that in, it pulls all water out of you, you cramp really bad. From what I here its not good.

But if its just for someone holding extra water and your not having to get up pn stage it isn't so bad. Its not potassium sparing.

My best advice would be...don't take them for a show. But its up to you.
