I use an oil that is a combination of mineral oils (it also smells good) called "hot six". Very cheap 3.96 a bottle @ wal-mart. Blends beautifully with the skin dosen't sit on top and make you look like you're wrapped in Saran Wrap. Won't say how to apply since thats my little secret. Oil is a must but not too much. (thats a rookie mistake)
