Tan?

I have until next Wednesday to tan if I want; that's only 10 days, would it do any good to start tanning now? Or would it be to risky to do since I may burn and that causes water retention?

Why did you wait till the last minute ? I would think you need to get some kind of tan going.

I've had a lot of things to worry about getting to this point. Don't have a lot of money. Don't have a lot of time. I don't know, no need for excuses, I just didn't start earlier, so I'm wondering if it's even worth trying now.

I can understand the time and money thing. If you tan at a salon, start out with a very MIN. amount of time. Its better to error on that than to be burnt to a crisp and peeling day of the show.

If they are 30 mins beds, tan only 6 mins, then add in 2 mins each day as long as you don't get red. Also be sure to use a good lotion.

You do have your comp color too, I hope?

Yeah, I bought Neutrogena's "Foam" (Deep color, not medium) that I figured I would use for my base since I assumed I didn't have time to get one naturally. I thought to apply that two days before I started the protan

No that is not competition tan. You need Protan. It's a must. I also like Dream Tan.

just use the protan. you have no idea what it will look like if you coat it over the neutrogena and you have no idea what the neutrogena will look like under the lights. just use the protan.
