need some help-2 weeks out

im having trouble losing the amount of weight i need to lose. i'm stuck at 164-166 lbs. and need to get to 154 lbs. i measured my bodyfat this morning(8 times to make sure my readings were right!) im at 4.7%, which means about 8 lbs. of fat. any suggestions on what to do.
im at about 60 g. of carbs(gaterade, oats, berries) post w/o at 8:00 a.m. thats it for carbs. a.m. w/o is 2 hours(2bodyparts,abs,pose,run) and evening cardio is about 1 hour, this week. roughly 300 g. lean protein(daily) split every 2-2.5 hours. ive reduced fat down to a handfull of almonds. im running out of time and cant think of much else to do. my training partner is having the same problem(he's at 184, target-175(8%bf)) we're thinking of dropping lifting to a half hour/day and swim more, ect. good idea? any other ideas??? thanks oh, ill have some pics up, hopefully friday!

Did you try lifting weights twice a day?

I don't think you can lose 10 pounds in two weeks. Unless you're including water weight? I'm vaguely in the same boat, but my show is next weekend.

You are 165 and 4.7% - which means you have 157 pounds of LEAN MASS - and you need to get to 154 pounds??

Ok - I'm a little confused, because, as far as I'm concerned, you are not going to get much leaner than 4.7%. If you do a good preperation over the last week you might be able to come in at 3-4%, but you would be crazy to think that it was going to be reasonable to come in lower than that. 4% is hard enough to get to.

And unless you chop off a body part, it's going to be pretty hard to drop 10 pounds of quality tissue. With the amount of training you are doing, in addition to the lack of carbs you are eating, I doubt you are holding a lot of water either - so you will not even lose a lot if you did dehydrate yourself....

But if you stopped lifting, did cardio twice a day and stopped eating you would probably make it - sure, you would come in looking like you have been trapped in the dessert for a few weeks, but you would hit your weight...

You need to drop water and that will get you under your weight. I dropped over 8lbs of water in 2 days.

losing water weight isn't going to help drop your bodyfat.

drop the gatoraid, oats, almonds and berries.

pull your carbs out for a few days. 3 low, then 1 at the normal amounts you would have but no gatoraid, berries or almonds, only the oats or sweet potato.

I think you have your bf% wrong if you still have extra fat hanging around.

Plus jacking with your water the last few days will make you drop some too.

also....why the hell are you lifting for that long of a period of time anyways??? You should be done in 45 mins max...

You need to have someone else besides yourself do your bf, do 9 sites.

Umm.....where is this extra weight you need to loose? Once you drop water, you'll be fine. Your azz don't have no extra 10lbs. sorry

Omg, need to loose 10 pounds?? WHERE?? This is just a personal opinion, but I think that there's no way in hell that U could drop 10 #, considering the shape that ure in! A little tweaking of ur diet along JLB's train of thought and ull turn out as lean as can be.

I think u look really good.

Dude, you look in contest shape as it is. Wish I did! I'm five days away and still got fat I don't think I can shake in time. Instead I have to try and hit poses to hide it. You've got no worries.

so... after a week of eating normal and 5 days of sodium/h2o loading, my weight is down to 161(down 4lbs). i think now that im holding 5-6 lbs(at least) of water, im going for the 154 mark to blow away the competition, hopefully. so, im wondering how im going to carb-up, if i do. any sugg. on how to do this while still trying to cut weight. maybe not even possible?

I think 154 is too light for you to come in full. I only did a day and a half carb up and I don't think it was enough, so now I'm going to deplete two days instead of three for this next show.

Trying to come in a little drier, did double-cardio all week through yesterday. Can't change much in a week, so I'm hoping it'll just result in being a little tighter.

omg. LOL

once you drop water and add the carbs you shouldn't blow up. I'm not good on carb loads so someone else might need to pipe in here.

You do look good. Your doing another coat of protan tonight?
