Tattoos in Figure Comp?

I have 3 small tattoos. I've seen pictures of girls competing in figure, and I don't think the tattoos look good. However, I'm biased when it comes to mine . What do you think? Cover them up for comp? I'm leaning towards yes.

It depends, but without seeing them I would say yes.

I am a Tat lover but I would cover it. I can remember always focusing on Yates tattoo.

I cover two of my three. Just depends on what they are and how big.

Anything that detracts from your body. If you think they do, cover 'em up

I have two, I don't cover them up though the pro tan does a pretty good job of concealing them.

Thanks everyone. Hopefully the tan will cover them enough. Even though mine are small, I do think they're distracting.

I didn't try and cover mine; I didn't think it took away from me.

I have one on my low back and covered it due to distractions. A lot of people in figure don't, the tan blends it a little. After my tan is done I cover it with dermablend and dab tanner over the top, it doesn't totally cover but does mostly. If you try too hard to cover them a lot of times the make up looks pasty and draws more attention.

Yeah, that's what I thought. If you try too hard, it will be more noticeable. I will probably just let the tan cover up what it will and leave it at that.

I think sometimes Tattoos can add to your appearance onstage, but they have to be done right and in the perfect place.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...
