    12 Days To Go!

    Ok, 12 more days, and I still have a little fat on my lower abs. I'm taking my ECA stack 3 times daily now and planning to start with the Prep H at night, probably tonight. Any other tips? Anything I'm missing?

    Oh, and I've got new pictures in my gallery. I'm not seeing much change though. I know I'll see changes when I drop the water. But what else can I do right now?

    11% bf today! Yeah! I dropped my creatine and protein shakes last week and the body fat dropped. I was stuck at 13 for several weeks.

    9 more days.

    dang...I didn't realize you were taken creatine. That'll make you hold water like crazy.

    What else you taking?

    I love my creatine, once I dropped it I realized how much it was helping me.

    No diet cokes, a little crystal light at dinner time, and only broccoli and green beans for veggies. I'm also taking glutamine.

    Next week is final week. Here is my plan, please let me know if anything sounds off.

    Sunday - Tuesday

    carb deplete
    add sodium (I already use a lot)
    extra water
    protein = chicken/turkey/egg whites
    veggies = green beans
    fat = fish oils

    Wednesday - Friday

    carb load
    drop sodium
    taper water down starting wed
    protein = boiled chicken/ground white turkey
    carbs = sweet potato/rice cakes (no salt)

    Thursday - start taraxatone

    Trainer suggested I creatine load next week, that is why I dropped it last week. Will this help pull any subcutaneous water into my muscles, or just make me look bloated? Not sure about this one. I may just go with it, and then we'll know for sure what happens!

    Anything look off?

    Thanks Jodie.

    I do mine different, I tend to spill over to easy with a carb load. But follow what your trianer has you doing. Ok?

    I've never used creatine so can't say yes or no on the product.

    Well, since I've never done this, I have no clue how I will respond to that kind of carb load and everything. I know it's a very individual thing. My thinking is I'll go with this and see how I do. This is a new, very small show (I think!), not a national qualifier show. So I am using it as kind of practice for experience. The other show I am planning on doing August 27 is a bigger, more established show, and a national qualifier. So I'd like to go into that one with some kind of experience.

    Thanks for all your help Jodie.

    Do you mean creatine, or glutamine? Honestly, I don't know how much if anything the glutamine is doing for me. I ran out for a few days and didn't notice a difference in anything. But once I stopped the creatine, my whole body got sore after my next workout. I am one to get (and keep) DOMS, and the creatine helped with that a lot.
