Oh snap!

I think this will be a good change, the IFBB needs a new of direction before it dies.
Not only will the IFBB die but so will the BB'ers. I mean look at em they are all ridiculous freaks! 290 and ripped now come on. I want to see guys like Frank Zane and Flex Wheeler competeing again. Granted Wheeler wasnt clean ot little, but atleast he had some type of symmetry and he did have a great waist.
I agree - If they would change the rules to that direction, I think it would be for the better and probably more people would come to watch and support. At least they would think it's attainable, rather than saying "shit, I could never compete, so why even start"
even being 220-230lbs ripped is not attainable for most people without the use of steroids....and I think people go to see the freaky BBers. I doubt it would help by having smaller people on stage...it would help if they promoted the sport better.
Lets face it there are only so many people that will have an interest in following pro BBing.....its like rowing for example...my father was a great rower but the sport is not very popular unless you are into that....BBing is not much different..Just because someone eats good and likes to lift a few weights to keep their body in a decent condition does not mean they will have the slightest interest in going to a BBing show and spend their loot to support the people in these shows.
