Ronnie Coleman recently was back at MetroFlex, the gym at which he famously trained for his record-tying eight Mr. Olympia wins. No, Coleman wasn't there training for his reported comeback in 2009, which he recently confirmed to Flexonline.com. Coleman was there running his sixth consecutive Ronnie Coleman's Workout Weekend.
The Workout Weekend was held in Arlington, Texas, on March 7-9. The first two days were spent at MetroFlex, while the third and final day took place at Coleman's 1,000 square foot home gym. In all, 25 people attended from all over the world, including Britain and Canada.
"The weekend was a great time with the fans," Coleman said. "The people really made it fun. I spot them and help them during their workouts, so it's good for everyone. I enjoyed our workouts together. We topped it off by going to the [Dallas] Mavericks game."
Coleman's next Workout Weekend will be held in 2009, in either February or March. Keep checking bigroncoleman.com for updates on how to train under the watchful eye of the eight-time Mr. Olympia.
