WTB: Strength Training System

Just found this forum from google.

I live in a small house in NYC. I'm currently taking a weight training program and would like to buy a system for my house. I can place it in the basement, but the more compact the system, the better.

If anyone has a slightly used system for sale, please post here, PM or email me: arkidata@yahoo.com

ALSO, if anyone can personally recommend a nice setup that they have experience with, that would be great too. I wasn't sure which forum to post to for recommendations.

Just as an FYI, I am a beginner. 30 years old and quite over weight for my height. 5'6"/185lbs. I'm told cardio will be the best way for me to lose the weight, but I don't want to invest in a treadmill or ellyptical. Noise factor (small house attached to other house). A couple of friends and I are going to start up a little jogging/running group on saturdays.

The best advice I can give you is spend the money on a gym membership instead. You will be spending less money that way and you will have all the equipment you will need. I think most will agree with me here.

I agree Crush, Doofy - if you aren't the "gym" type and really want to work out at home. I have some nice equipment for sale. I have a Weider CrossBow and a Diamondback stairstepper 1100ES. The CrossBow folds up and is pretty compact. The stairstepper however, you can just place in a corner if you'd like.

let me know.

All the glory to God! We have a baby on the way.
