Ghrp-6 and cjc-1293: The Dream Team!

    GHRP-6

This is a Growth Hormone Releasing Peptide. A peptide is a chain of amino acid molecules held together by peptide bonds. The 6 refers to the number of amino acids that make up this peptide.

GHRP-6 is a powerful stimulator of Growth Hormone release. This release takes place due to interaction with the ghrelin receptor. GHRP-6 actually mimics ghrelin. These ghrelin receptors are found primarily in the stomach and in the pancreas. Ghrelin is a naturally produced peptide that has several effects. It is believed to be responsible for the sensation of hunger. It increases prior to meals and decreases post meal. However another particularly interesting effect for our research purposes is that it is a potent activator of Growth Hormone release from the Pituitary Gland.

Another rarely mentioned, yet pertinent to our research, effect of ghrelin is that it has an effect on akt (protein kinase b). This protein kinase is responsible for glucose metabolism and cell growth.

    CJC-1293

CJC-1293 is actually an analog of a Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone. It is an analog of GRF (1-29). The structural differences are twofold. CJC 1293 has an amino acid substitution at the second position as well as the addition of what is commonly known as DAC( drug affinity complex).. The sole reason CJC 1293 was created, was strictly for comparison to CJC 1295 which exhibited an extended Growth Hormone Release pattern. The use of CJC 1293 in research resulted in production of Growth Hormone similar to levels observed with CJC-1295 but with a slightly shorter half-life.

The Growth Hormone release associated with CJC 1293 is caused by its agonist activity on the Growth Hormone Secretagauge Receptor (GHSR). This signals the pituitary to produce Growth Hormone. Much like other endocrine systems this pathway has a negative feedback and in response to this Growth Hormone release Somatostatin is released which is a Growth Hormone Inhibiting Hormone. In the case of CJC 1293 one can expect to observe in their research a Growth Hormone increase that lasts about one week.

    GHRP-6 and CJC 1293 Together

It has been observed in research that simultaneous administration of GHRP-6 and CJC 1293 results in a greater sum of the individual parts. The dual stimulation of the pituitary seems to illicit a synergistic Growth Hormone release than is greater than if you were to combine the individual effects of each on paper. There is some research that may indicate this is due to the ability of GHRP-6 to prevent impaired Growth Hormone response to CJC-1293. Regardless it is proven in research that the 2 together illicit a powerful Growth Hormone Release, with the benefits of a steady increase in GH levels from CJC-1293 as well as GH pulses provided by the GHRP-6.

    The End Result

Research has shown that Growth Hormone is responsible for cell regeneration, growth and reproduction. The effects of Human Growth Hormone in a research setting have observed changes in body composition due to its anabolic and lipolytic (fat burning) actions.

The changes in Growth hormone from the combination of GHRP-6 and CJC 1293 are established in research to be significant enough that the same results should be observed in our research.
