SUSTAIN AVAILABLE! Show your creativity and Win!!

BODYBUILDING SUPPLEMENTS
High Quality Supplements For Bodybuilders and Athletes. www.ironmaglabs.com
Sustain is now available for purchase at various online retailers It is also listed as the hottest selling protein on numerous sites. To celebrate it's release and try to give something back to our supporters, DS would like to give you some FREE Sustain.....simply for showing off your creativity.

That’s right ladies and gents, to coincide with the retail release of our fantastic protein, Sustain – Peanut Butter Fudge, Designer Nutrition has decided to give you guys a chance to show your creative side, contribute to the next round of labels, and win some great prizes.

The rules are simple
Come up with the best tasting recipe and win. A protein bar, a dessert, a main dish, a creative breakfast, even a shake….if it tastes better than the competition, you win. Obviously the more pronounced the Sustain taste, the better, and simple creations that taste great are ideal….no one wants to spend two hours in the kitchen.

The Prizes
The 3 best recipes will receive another jug of Sustain plus a free bottle of Designer Nutrition’s brand new Cherry Xceed, 3 first-place runners up get their choice of any one DS/DN product (Sustain if desired), and the 3 second-place runners up will get a box of Sustain Bars as soon as they are back in stock. Additionally, at least one of the best recipes will be featured on the side label of future jugs of Sustain and all other winners will be added to an online cookbook at www.designersupps.com.

The requirements This is important
1)Participants must photograph their creation (yes, presentation does count) and e-mail their entry to uhockey@designersupps.com or snail-mail to the DS offices listed on our website. The picture must include the dish, the sustain jar, and your smiling/frowning/glaring/etc face. Smile preferred.

2)Participants must include the ingredients to their recipe, instructions on preparation and cooking, and an approximate listing of macros per serving.

3)There is no number 3, that’s it.

**Multiple entries are perfectly legal and you may post pictures here on the forum if you wish. Pictures submitted to myself will NOT be posted by myself or any other DS employee and will be kept confidential unless you explicitly request them to be posted.

I should ask that this thread remain on topic and that persons with nothing positive to contribute please refrain from posting. Good luck and please feel free to post any questions, recipe pics, or general discussion here in this thread.

Deadline for entry is December 1st, 2006.

Stupidly Simple Sustain Recipe #1

Peanut Butter Fudge Protein Pudding

2 scoops Sustain (P-nut Butter Fudge, duh)
1/2 cup Fat Free All Natural Plain Yogurt

In a disposable cup, spoon in the yogurt, then the Sustain. Mix in an up-and-over folding action with a spoon. At first, it will appear too dry. Resist the urge to add liquid. Continue mixing, and in a minute or two, the consistency will become smooth and very thick, but spoonable. Make sure you get all of the dry powder mixed from the bottom inside edge of the cup.

This is a fabulously easy protein pudding that is suitable for early am cardio or for a fast mini-meal before evening workouts. I would add a small amount of rice bran to this pudding (and slightly more yogurt), if you have problems with GI upset from protein concentrates.

Make sure you drink plenty of water after consuming the pudding.

This is the first protein powder I have tried that tasted very good in these quick puddings. You can purchase small single servings of unflavored yogurt that can be mixed with sustain (kept in a small screw capped container or plastic lidded container) and mixed on the spot for a quick spot filler meal when you are on travel or during long busy days when stopping for a regular meal is impossible.

Sustang-wich

Get two pieces of bread, whole wheat, white, it doesn't matter. Lay the two pieces of bread side by side. Next take one scoop Sustain and place one of the bread pieces. Next get one scoop of Tang and place the scoop on the same piece of bread as the Sustain scoop. Take other piece of bread and overlay on the bread with sustain and tang. You may want to take a fork and press down the edges to seal the sandwich. And viola, you have yourself a mighty tasty Sustang-wich. This is a variation of the venerable Bundy tangwich but has a higher protein content in comparison to the most carb tangwich. Be sure to consume with liquid as the sandwich is a bit dry. Chew slowly and savor the peanut-orangey taste of deliciousness.

Pics to follow, but obviously no one can beat this recipe in terms of simplicity, nutrition, innovation and scrumptiousness.

*squint* The sandwich recipe is...odd. Very odd.

I tried this recipe for MegaMuffins. I use Sustain for the protein powder and I substituted oat bran for the wheat germ. Protein content goes up, carbs drop by 10g. I deleted the raisins and added more frozen blueberries instead.

I thought the PB flavor was vastly superior to the original recipe.
