Question
I'm reading Rapid Fat Loss Book and Lyle says: Surprisingly and quite contrary to
common belief, at rest skeletal muscle doesn’t burn that many calories. The idea that adding muscle mass will turn you into a calorie burning inferno is simply incorrect. Is that true?? ![]() Then why do 'bigger' musclier people burn more calories?? I'm confused with this statement.... ![]() |

I believe the idea is that even if you have a relatively large amount of muscle mass, you'll still get fat if you eat more calories than you need.

Bingo. You do burn MORE calories sitting around if you're more muscular, but not THAT much more.
Wondering where to start? Confused? This will get you started.
