Just outa of curiosity from what I have been reading flax oil can go bad very fast if not refrigerated. It can also go bad if exposed to light etc etc. (some people make flax oil sound like if you breathe to heavy aroudn it it is going to break down and be useless) If this is the case how can flax pills be usefull?

It's true what you have been reading about flax oil. It must be stored in a cool place in a lightproof container. It oxidizes (gets rancid) quickly.
Capsules are probably a little better.
For the freshest oil you can go with flax seeds. A couple of tablespoons a day. This is an inexpensive alternative, plus you get the benefit of the fiber. Grind them yourself right before use.
Here's what I do... put them in the blender (Vitamix) when making a smoothie of protein drink.
Be aware that they contain a substance that with thicken your drink if you let it sit too long.
Hope that helps.
Best wishes,
Tom
