Flaxseed - When to take it?
Is there a specific time to take this? I'm wondering if it's something that should just be eaten throughout the day or if it should be taken specifically pre or post-workout.

Through out the day.
Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

I'd recommend switching to fish oil.

There is nothing wrong with Flaxseeds.
They are a great source of fibre.

I have both flaxseeds and fish oil. I don't see the harm in two different sources of EFAs, so long as my macros are in check.

I agree, your body needs the ALA from the flax as well as the EPA/DHA from the fish oil. The issue is that the ALA doesn't convert very efficiently to the epa/dha, so if you had one choice, the fish oil is the way to go.
But yea, no problem with having both.
