Just finished listening. Very interesting stuff.
Here's an honest question for you and is one of the biggest obstacles from trying this diet, at least for me. How quickly did you adapt to the fast? I don't know if others experience this, but I can't sleep if I'm hungry. That means that on any given fasting day, I will get 0 (or close to) hours of sleep. Not only that, but if I go even 7-8 hours without eating, the hunger I feel becomes so painful that it feels like someone is kicking me in the stomach... With metal spiked cleats. At that point, I really have no choice and just tear into the first piece of food that I can find regardless of if it's healthy or a sugar loaded piece of crap (which is THE major reason I still eat every 3-4 hours, to ward that off). |

After 2 or 3 fasts I started to get used to it.
I also have a hard time going to bed hungry, so I plan my fasts around that and I just do them from evening to evening. So, I'll train on monday night, drink a shake at 7pm (so that I am full for the night) and then not eat until 7pm tuesday evening. Either that or do a late afternoon thing, like start the fast at 4pm, so you at least have something in your stomach. I am at my worst when I fast from breakfast to breakfast (like 6am to 6am) because I have to try and go to sleep really hungry. patrick

Dam patrick I've been just about the exact same thing. I eat late. I'm an evening guy too. I like it for cutting.

I have just started trying it. You adjust relatively easy as P said, 2-3 fasts and you have adjusted.
I prefer however to have my fast start around noon. I don't like waiting all day to eat, and can easily sleep off my hunger pangs.
Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.

Sleeping hungry really sucks....thats why I keep my largest meal at night.
