popcorn

I am curious what ya'll think about eating plain popped corn for snacks. When I mean plan I mean putting the corn in a heated air popper and adding nothing to it...a HUGE bowl is like 130 calories. I was thinking a good snack alternative to eating rice cakes or something.

if you can get thru the day wihtout snacking and just have one special day a week where you eat this stuff then great, but If u cant, then ther eis nothing wrong with it as long as it fits into your caloric budget...I think that popcorn is also high in carbs so make the necesary adjustments..for example I had a 200 calorie cake tonight after dinner, and since I had over 280g of protein today alread which i 1.5 times my LBM Im gona skim on the muscle milk tonight and save the calories that I consumed in the cake so no real harm was done.......

The good thing I like with popcorn is that for the calories you take, you seem to fell pretty full fast. IMO, it can help you cut down calories but you do need to consider the carbs intake.

I agree...popcorn fills me up VERY quickly...
