UD 2.0 update and question regarding finishing a cycle

so im onto my 6th week, as of last night(second low carb day) in the gym i weigh 78.4kg (172) down from 83.1(183) when i started, i assuming after my carb up and finishing this week ill prob finish at 80kg which was my goal for my cycle. i use a fat track calipers for bodyfat and it has me from 13.9 down to 10.5% the top of my abs are beginning to show, but everywhere else has gotten very lean, my gut seems to be the last place losing it. ive really liked the program.

it says take 2 weeks off between cycles, do ppl just train and eat normally, or is there any benefit to taking 2 weeks off weightlifting completely to let my body recover? is there much benefit to this?? also should i be working out my maintenance cals for my new lean mass??

You did a cycle to go from 14 to 10? You gotta be kidding me dude.

And males generally lose the mid section last. Perhaps you should Try posting this in the Anabolics forum.

I think Merkaba misinterpreted what you wrote. It looks like he thought that you used AAS to assist you in getting down to 10%. Honest mistake i'm guessing.

I'm grappling with this question myself. I'm on week 8 and just about to finish up my first UD2.

My general attitude towards maintenance is as follows:

* Free the mind a bit from the shackles that are fitday and a specific diet.
* Give the body a rest, but still keep it in the groove.
* Enjoy food, but don't go bezerk.

What I think this may translate to in terms of specific exercise is maybe mostly tension-like workouts, but maybe throw in a depletion here and maybe a power there. Also through in some cardio. Overall, I'd workout less vs. what I'd do on UD2.

As for diet, I think on average, I'd like to end up averaging below maintenance. Reason: I absolutely don't want to lose what I've gained. Maybe a couple of pigout days, a few maintenance days, but also a few days say, 20% below maintenance.

The bigger question will be what to do after maintenance. I've gone from 209 to 193.5 during the last seven weeks. I don't think I'm 10% bf though so I'm not sure if I'm ready for bulk.

We'll see where my brain is in 2-3 weeks.
