How long do certain foods 'keep' once cooked?

Let's just say that Sunday evening you prepare the following:

    4 Chicken Breasts
2 Turkey Breasts (not the sandwich meat, the real deal)
    12 Hard Boiled Eggs

These are all placed in your refrigerator (not freezer) in containers with lids.

How many days would they be 'good'? I mean, would you eat these on Wednesday, or even Thursday?

I know what I do, but I wonder what other people's thoughts are. Thanks!

Don't know about the eggs though. I just put mine in a tupperware container everymorning and microwave them when I get to work. I don't like hard boiled eggs.

    Eggs
    Hardcooked 1 week

    Cooked Poultry
Fried chicken 3 to 4 days
Pieces, plain 3 to 4 days

Shooter, hard boiled eggs are good to have when you won't have time or access to a microwave.

Leslie, I copied and pasted the text from the chart above...do you really eat beef or chicken on Friday that you cooked on Sunday?

w8, thanks for the chart, oh goddess of the internet!

yes miss leDix, I sometimes have chicken/meat left by Friday and I will eat it. If my BF does not go out for lunch as often, then i usually have to whip up a small batch of chicken/beef by Weds(like tonight )
But I have not gotten sick...yet

the smell test will only work if food is really bad. the problem with that is the longer you keep food the longer bacteria has to reproduce, It may not smell bad yet but might be bad enough to make you sick. also If you cook your food enough you will kill much of the bacteria. For most perishable items I like to stay between 5-6 days.
