how fat am I?
Hey guys
skin fold says I am 9%, I struggle to accept this, I believe I am more like 13-15%, I am stressing because I am trying to determine my lean mass for refeeding/carb load purposes, also to determine the length of my current cut. So what do you guys think? I have most of my fat around my mid section, love handles and butt. UD 2.0 is working great on my second week, went for 208 to 197 during the first week, back 204 after carb load, no at 196 on Tuesday WOW! I love the intensity, I am feeling pissed off that I did not buy into restrictions back when I played sports, I would have been a lot better at a lower body %, I am asking the body fat question because this is all new to me, I have never been this lean ever. New stuff, any help is appreciated see pics. The one on the rock is from two years ago when I was 25 lbs heavier and powerlifting in the 220's. Grant |

update
Hi guys down to 193 this week here are pics from last weeks carb up, working on posing, any comments are acceptable, this is my forth week of ud 2.0 I really love it, I feel like I am nailing the training and nutrition during the week, carb up I just go crazy, seems like the more I eat the better the results during the week, this week I went from 204 to 195 in a day... anyone experienced this, it seems to be getting me shredded fast, how low will I need to go prior to being comp ready, I am thinking 185 empty 195 full of glycogen.

Try getting someone else to take the skinfold measurement, as generally they are very accurate - if done properly.
If you've been using them for awhile it's easy to get into bad habits, such as squeezing a bit hard or seeking out the thinnest bit. What type of caliper and measurement are you using? Are you very close to the next age bracket for that measurement? For example with Accumeasure it jumps from 31-35 to 36-40. There's a considerable difference between just turned 31 and about to turn 36. Ultimately, even for refeeding and the like, the only thing that really matters is if the measurement is changing. If you're tracking your diet you already know your maintenance cals, right? So adjust from there. It's nice to know the actual figure but don't get too hung up on the number - or just go by the next age bracket up ![]() B. |

Its just an estimate by looking at the guy. No abs peaking through, little bit of vascularity, legs still look a bit smooth. Mid teens would be my guess too.
