Juicer
Worth the money?
I just got a late/unexpected wedding gift card in the mail for macys and since we have most of the things we want from there, I was thinking about investing in a juicer. I have never used one before and was also wondering if it needed a lot of fruits/veggies to make a drink. |

I'd like to have one. Seams they would be very convenient for eating on the run as I do allot. Especially in summer when lots of local fresh veggies are available from the garden or farmers markets.
No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

I have one and used it regularly. I have stopped using it when i bought my vita-mix. I prefer to get all the pulp(fiber) out of my smoothies/juices. Cleaning the juicer is a pain in the butt. I did it each and every time within minutes of juicing otherwise build up would occur and your unit would not last.
If a good juice is what you want, a juicer is the way. The vita mix is great, but costly. A decent juicer can be had for under 50.00 at walmart. Mine was black with a 3" opening for whole fruits and vegetables. I still cut them up. Just remember though, a lot of the calories you consume from juice will be fairly empty compared to those with pulp(fiber).
