Protein after static stretching?
I was wondering if it would be beneficial to have some protein and/or other nutrients during or after static stretching? I figure since stretching loosens up the muscles and allows for more bloodflow (and, whatever nutrients they carry) it would be a strategic time, like drinking a whey isolate drink when working out.
Training the mind is equally, if not more, important than training the body. If you can learn to transcend natural limitations, and force your mind into your muscle, your strength will know no bounds.
