Cutting diet?
Hello everybody,
I started lifting weights almost 3 weeks ago ... and I have seen no noticeable changes? Now I don't know what's wrong, like not eating enough, eating too much? I workout every other day, and I do cardio(jog 45 minutes) 5 times a week, I rest 2 days.. Sex: Male Age: 15 Weight: 74 Kgs My Workout is: Bench Press 4x5 Squats 5x5 Deadlifts 3x5 Lat pulldowns 8x3 Lunges 12x3 Dips 9x3.. And my diet is: Breakfast: 3/4 cup oatmeal 1 cup milk 4 whole eggs boiled 1 medium apple Snack: 2 slices wholemeal toast with cottage cheese 3rd Meal: Tuna sandwich(2 slices toast) Lunch: 150g chicken breast/fish/meat with vegs 5th Meal: 150g chicken breast/fish/meat with vegs Pre-bed: 1 Cup cottage cheese with vegs I think this matches my calories needs, which is 2300 calories. Thanks for reading...! |

What are your goals? Also, please calculate the daily grams of fat, protein, carbohydrates, and fiber that you take in each day.

Sorry, I dont understand what you mean by you want my macros. Do you mean you want to see how much I am eating, or how much do I WANT to eat? And btw, I really struggle to up my proteins intake, can you tell me some foods that are high in protein? When I count how much protein I am eating, it is barely 1x my body weight...

Macros = macronutrients.
All meat products are high in protein (e.g. chicken, fish, beef, big game). Dairy too --- eggs, cheese, milk. Check the labels. If you are struggling with taking in enough protein from food, I'd recommend getting yourself a whey protein supplement. I'd highly recommend Lipotropic Protein. It is inexpensive, mixes well with water or milk, and I think it tastes very good.

Consider Progenex products by Dr. Scott Connelly (Body Rx), the inventor of the first real sports supplements, MetRx. He has spent the majority of his adult life studying the benefits of whey protein. The results are amazing. don't have the time or space to go into it...search google and read more.
