    5'9 130# looking to gain but cant

    I was told to come in hear and ask what kinda foods i should eat in order to put on some weight. I have been 5'9 and 130# for over 2 years. I know i Have to eat at least 6 meals a day but any advice on what to eat would be greatly appreciated. I also am going to cut down my racketball playing from 4x to 2x a week. so really all i am looking for is some infor mation on what types of food are the better ones stuff like that.

    I curretnly work alot so its hard to eat im driving around in a van all day climbing telephone poles and stuff. but i started to bring 5 or 6 sandwhices a day which usally are PPJ, Tuna or coldcuts. Then i come home and eat a full meal which is whatever is cooked its a good healthy meal every night though. and i drink tons of water

    Well if that's all you're eating you're definitely not eating enough! If you're in a car, that's ideal...you can eat while you're driving from jobsite to jobsite.

    Get yourself a whey protein powder and mix it w/ water...add some almonds or cashews and you've got a quick meal that can be eaten real quick.

    Also, cook up some chicken, lean beef, make tuna sandwiches, or egg salad...(on whole grain bread), the night before and take it w/ you.

    You should try to eat at least 6 meals a day, w/ protein, healthy fats and slow-burning carbs in each meal.
