I've just recently began weight lifting again because I wanna get "big" again not huge though just big. The problem is ive been reading around the internet a lot that running and playing basketball keeps you from gaining muscle mass fast. I weight lift 4 times a week 1 hour and I train different muscles everyday and I plan on doing cardio 2 times a week is that enough to help burn fat and not keep me from gaining maximum amount of muscle?
Strictly speaking, it's not likely to burn fat while building muscle. Building muscle takes a caloric surplus and burning fat usually takes a caloric deficit. You have to choose one or the other and do them one at a time.
