How do these work and do they really work? I'm curious because it sounds just crazy enough to possibly be true.
I understand that you have to reduce your intake of carbs to a nearly negligible amount...do these include vegetables and fruits (not including potatoes and corn) or does that only apply to bread and pasta etc.?


By "work" you mean... what?
If you eat fewer calories than you require, you will lose weight. There are things you can do to push the deficit up that will help you lose less muscle and more fat, and there are things you can do that makes the deficit more tolerable.
