What is Best Exercise to loose fat FAST!!!

Hey guys!!! I'm not sure if too many of you remember me, its been almost a year since my last post. I guess I got out of routine and just stopped working out.

Anyway, I have maintained the muscles since I worked out last, but unfortunately put on some body fat and I mean a lot. Know its time to loose it. My ten year reunion is next May and I want to start now so that I can be in better shape than I was in high school. If any of you have some tips on the quickest way to loose body fat, It would be greatly appreciated.

Once this is accomplished I will start on putting on more muscle.

Am I taking the right steps???

Thanks guys!!! its good to be back.

    Hi June!

Glad you are back on track! I would start building muscles now instead of waiting later since muscle burns more cals than fat and would rev up your metabolism. That and clean eating..

Yep, plus if your looking to strip fat fast it is almost totally inevitable that you'll loose a good amount of muscle with it, especially if you plan to drop working out with weights (if thats what you were thinking).

I'd run in the mornings before eating anything, run run run and run hard, but I'd bet you'd lose some meat that way, possibly even alot.

you might want to try out Charles Poliquins German Body Comp routine. Its a program geared mainly towards fat loss w/ minimal muscle loss and possibly even some muscle gain. It's in his book, "Manly Weight Loss", and there are resources on a few sites on the internet. If you need more info let me know. Just a warning, these workouts are HARD.

Obviously cardio is going to burn the most calories, but your diet is going to be the key to losing fat.

Let's see your new diet plan! (you do have one, right?)

Well. kinda. I know what I should and shouldn't eat for examle the last few days, I have 2 egg whites with one whole egg for breakfast with 1 carb either a low fat tortilla of a pita bread.
AM lunch: turkey sandwich on wheat. or plain oatmeal and I mean plain, it sucks!!!
Mid lunch: varies a bit with speghetti, tuna helper tetrazini or fat free refried beans and 2 tortillas.
    Dinner same as lunch.

That is not what to eat to lose fat...too much processed carbs, and not enough protein or EFA's.

Check out this thread for some ideas on what to eat and what not to eat.

The Fat Loss Primer will also give you a good idea of what types of food to avoid.

2 tortillas is a huge amount of carbs.

You might consider jump rope too, that beats the snot out of me.

Anaerobic interval training would be the most efficient way to lose fat. Go to www.testosterone.net and do a search for it. Jeff Everson had a great interview with someone about it, but I doubt you will find that on the net.

PS You should do this on top of cardio and weights, generally doing each at least 3 days a week.
