    Questions about Diet

    Hello Friends,
I know you guys always advise to cook food and not eat outside food. However, this is not possible for me because I am very busy and hence at least once a day I have to eat outside food and many times I have to eat frozen dinners:

This is the kind of diet I am able to maintain most of the time:

    Breakfast
    2 scoops of protein powder

    Snack
    protein bar

    Lunch:
Subway sandwiches (most of the time)
Viet - Thai Pho Soup . I believe this is low in fat.
Some sort of fish dish from Taco Bell or a nearby restaurant

    Dinner
Brown rice, Vegetables either baked fish or grilled chicken(No oil).

Whenever, I am hungry I generally have a protein shake.

As you can see I am having a lot of fish lately mostly tilapia or mahi mahi.

From my previous posts you might have known that I was always hungry previously but now I don't have that problem much especially since i always snack on a protein bar or shake whenever I feel hungy.

    Any comments?

Why can't you prep your meals at the beginning of the week?

I am fairly happy with my body, I just have layer of fat around my waist that I am trying to get rid of. I workout about 3 times a week mostly cardio burning about 450 calories and the above diet and routinue seems to be producing results.

Like I said I don't always find the time to cook so I have to eat out. I just need to know if eating brown rice, fish and vegetables for about 60% of the time is healthy.
I would especially like to know about healthy foods that I can have in restaurants like the Vietnamese Pho Soup or Mediterranean food.

If you're trying to drop bodyfat, doing mostly cardio is easily the worst way to try to achieve your goal.

Please read the link in my sig on "getting started" - you'll see some information on leaning out that you may find helpful.

Why do you say doing cardio is the worst way to achieve this goal? I read your whole post didn't see anything about why mostly cardio is bad?If I eat a low fat diet and burn calories then wouldn't it lead to me losing the fat on my waist? I don't want to lose weight I am 5' 10" and 170 lbs. I just want to reduce body fat.
