    Postworkout nutrition window?

Hey there, I heard that there's a 15-30 minute window at the end of your workout in which you have to refuel or you'll lose substantial gains.

Now usually I take a bus home which means I don't take my post-workout protein shake until about an hour or so afterwards. Will this significantly affect strength and muscle gains or is this whole idea a load of bs?

I never really thought of that. Do you just bring an empty bottle with protein powder inside then dump some water in after your workout?
