    Absorbtion of protein, carbs, etc.

I know that around 50 grams of protien is the most protien that can be absorbed but are carbs and fat the same way. If I ate 300 grams of carbs at one sitting and 100 were absorbed would the rest be moved to the colon?

You are wrong, there has NEVER been a study that proves the maximum amount of protein that can be absorbed at one time. Its a total myth that has been around forever, but its absolutely false. The fact is no-one knows how much protein can be absorbed at one time. If there is an upper limit, it would vary so much from person to person.

Yep, I think its person to person kind of thing, and for most people I have seen the claim that this is 75g protein, however again if some guy is 6'5" 350-400 pounds (Manfred, or etc) then I think the dynamic is going to change yet again, person to person, size and digestion system differences, protein sources perhaps, yada yada.

    Right.

P.s. food still gets absorbed in the colon too, in case you were unsure.

Ie, pete's point = no one knows, so the question is a pointless one. Sorry.
