    new guy/questions

Hello, My name is cody and I'm new here. Found website randomly browsing web. Figured i could ask a question and receive some good advise here.
    So straight to it.

What should i be eating to keep fat on my body, and help build muscle. I've been on college break and have only lost weight(I've lost around 30 lbs in six months, and i do nothing and eat a shit load). I have poured concrete since i was 15, i have always gained lots of strength and little muscle mass, and definitely overworked/trained. My metabolism has been incredibly high since i was 13ish.

I want to order some Hemp protein powder for muscle building. I know hemp is pretty much the king of the vegetable kingdom when it comes to protein and omega. I want to stay all natural, so would i be wasting money with hemp protein powder? My research tells me i wouldn't.

Back to the weight issue. I think it may be due to smoking a certain plant. But still, for the amount i eat (a lot..) ... losing 30lbs just boggles me.

Im 20 years old turning 21 relatively soon
Pretty fit.. just getting skinny... down to 160 some days...
    6'2''
want to weigh around 200-220. (during summer of pouring crete i weigh in close to 190. but i seem to have the same muscle mass, except chest and shoulders, body fat increases though... like now that im skinny like this.. my abs are more apparent. during summer.. not so much, but im definitely stronger)
    And i eat a lot.
I can manage my own workout plans
I just know nothing about how i should eat.
Oh and about eating.. i always eat healthy.. not really healthy, but i dont like sweets and enjoy a big plate of supper.. which i have often.. i also like eggs..
    yes..
college has = lots of eggs. (Cheap! )

Basically im just in search of what/how i should be eating at my age

Any suggestions or any inquiring for further information would be appreciated.

Sorry if my message seems a little ambiguous.

Post a typical day or two of your meals and let other's judge if you're always "eating healthy"
For the most part you're going to need to track your intake to get to the bottom of what's going on. We like to recommend fitday.com You need to see how much fat, protein and carbs you're taking in, among other things.
    Ban 2 1/2 's !!!!!!

I will make a two day log of what i honestly feel are average days and repost the specifics you are looking for on another day (caloric intake, right?). Ever since ive been on break i haven't been eating too great(Pizzas... eggs and sausage, venison, mtn dew, more pizzas. yeah thats about all ive eaten in the past 3.5 weeks, literally ), but my weight loss started before break.

But.. My normal day. Something like this.
    wake up.
Eat egg sandwich. 2eggs. lots of butter. most of the time i throw on a big ol slab of ham and a piece of cheese to go with it.
(i don't always eat breakfast, but i've found that lately i need to, so its only becoming a more common thing)

Come lunch time at school i always go and fill up with whatever they have that day. but if im playing ping pong ill sometimes skip lunch.

I quit drinking soda and drink vitamin water and function water.
I like to change up the flavors and get more vitamins/antioxidants

supper. i eat whatever my brothers girlfriend cooks. and i eat it all. (she always changes up her cooking from pastas/chicken/meatloaf/fish/ etc. and always served with atleast 2 side dishes usually always rice then something else, usually a veggie, .)

then at night, i snack. But not snack snacks. Left over supper. Or ill cook a couple egg sandwiches. Or goto bed feeling hungry. but its hard for me to deny myself food... right now
And when i say snack i guess i really dont mean snack.. i rarely ever snack.. when i eat.. I eat large quantities until i am full.

    So...

Thats close to a typical day since, well.. actually for about a year now (minus the eating at school part.. so eating lunch at school would = my packed lunch at work, during the summer)

    But basically.....

Im going to need to take in more calories, thats what you guys are going to tell me...
And after typing all this i feel everything i typed above is unclear, irrelevant and pointless.

So. aside from the fact that i should eat more. And figure out my caloric intake and increase that number.

    My goal is 200.
    at 6'2''..
165 lbs give or take atm.
How much would you recommend increasing my intake.
And with working out how fast could i put that 35 lbs on. I plan on working out 4-5 days a week, and Im going to base my weight regiment off info from this site.
