Any advice/tips on having food available to eat?

I have a horrible habit of not eating if there's no readily available food, even worse if there's just no food :P

As such, I've had a hard time consistently hitting my target of 2500 calories/day, resulting in little to no gains of muscle.

Aside from canned tuna which I already eat an enormous crapload of, do you guys have any suggestions for ways I can essentially "snack" on complete proteins and good carbs? I snack on almonds for healthy fats, so something similar for protein and carbs would be awesome

    Thanks!

Protein shakes are always a staple.

Nuts, beef jerky, and hard boiled eggs if you are looking for some protein and fats. Peanut butter sandwiches work if you want some carbs as well.

All in all, I'm not a big fan of snacking -- have you tried simply eating bigger meals? Perhaps they will curb your appetite a bit more. Many find bigger meals more satisfying than a bunch of micromeals and snacks.

Ron Harris wrote about buying huge coffee mugs to mask the fact that you're taking protein shakes throughout the day.

People might look at you odd to be drinking protein drinks 24/7, but they won't blink or ask one question if you're sipping from a coffee keg. lol

Who cares? Let them give you odd looks while they're drinking from their 32oz mountain dew.
