    Incomplete protein for muscle building.

    So, does incomplete (lacking certain essential amino acids) protein still count towards your daily total of protein? Even if it is not mixed with another incomplete source which has the missed amino acids?

    Yes, it still counts. However, you don't want to make that source your only protein source --- have a variety of sources to ensure that you get all the necessary amino acids.
