I couldn't agree with you more!!!

Now, as my friend in Orlando would say, "I can't beleive the trainers at Bally's come in with BK bags, Cookies and Pizza and eat it in their office!"

And then, they charge you $500 for 4 sessions, meal plan (good Lord!) and Bally's supplements!

Bad move for McD's. Doesn't matter to me though. I can't remember the last time I had McD's.

Bad move? I think it's a good move. They just recently introduced a Healthy Choice menu (in my locality), and I think it's great that they are making the initiative after so many years of helping to kill people.

When McD's starts get health-conscious, it shouldn't be too long before the government takes initiative (considering where their money comes from).

Why is McD's trying to do all this "healthy" stuff, do you think it has to do something with the guy suing all the fast-food places saying they got him out of shape?

A year ago, not only did I quit smoking I've also stopped going to all fast-food restaurants. Except for Carl's Jr, there's only two items that I buy there, for a salad or their plain BBQ chicken sandwich. Otherwise, I'll stop at a grocery store and pick up a fruit..etc..etc. There's just about as many grocery stores as fast-food places.....

The real difference is in the choices consumers make. If peeps just had an occasional normal sized small portion of french fries occasionally with plenty of fiber and a low fat diet on the whole, it wouldn't matter.

Then I say, enjoy your fries as is. If it is a staple, it's an unhealthy diet anyway. They do offer some salad shakers with low fat dressing. And I am sure that dressing has unnatural transfatty acids in it as well. Even less then the improved fries will have, I am guessing.

But that is just my opinion.

If you want to eat healthy, you don't go to McDonald's. Go to Subway across the street and get a healthy, low-fat sandwich. Big deal, so McD's is cutting the fat. They aren't losing any calories. People are now going to kid themselves, thinking that the new lower fat fries are healthier. And the fat fucks that eat a large fry and two Big Macs will get TWO orders of fries now.

Give me a break. Healthy eaters know better than to eat the shit McD's sells.

Too bad they don't use more meat with their subs! Subway is a better alternate choice. However, any Greek, Italian DELI KICKS ASS! OLD SCHOOL!

Yeah, the mom-and-pop delis rule. Unfortunately, they don't pop up every 100 yards like Subway does.

I agree, but you can always special order double meat. Then eat half. This works for restaurants as well, for chicken salads, etc.

Unfortunatley it's also not just about the calories. I find subways subs to be up there calorie wise as well, By the time one gets done adding extra cheese and sauces ya may as well go get a big mac meal. Of course not everyone eats thier subs like that, just plain ol meat veggies and bread, bah i'ld rather build it at home for 2.00 than give subway 9.00 (BC Prices)

That bieng the main reason i steer away from fast food entirely i can whip up something healthier, tastier and cheaper at home.

A little dig to the fella who gave up fast food and smoking, as the saying goes "reformed smokers are the worst" always preaching about how bad cigs are even though they had one in thier mouths not to long ago........just kidding with ya, good for you for staying quit though.

Dang straight, you know it!! LOL. I try not to preach too much, but I have jumped all the high hurdles to quit and get where I'm at now. It's mentally and physically challenging to give up the desires of a cig......oh dang!! I'm preaching again!!.....but hey, look no sig in sight....LOL

Back to the subject of the thread....Subway...really? I guess it'd be the place to go if the only choices around the area were, McD, BK..etc..etc.. I've always placed Subway in the fast-food category.

I am definitley feeling guilty from last week. Hey, wouldn't you eat and drink like a slob if work paid you for it?

The difference here is that was one week for me. Most people that eat fast food do so on a regular basis.

I think most people will just have a double order of fries now. Fast food is evil!

Actually, a sausage biscuit and two hash browns are quite good on the stomach when nursing a hangover.
