Protein shakes, milk and white bread

I hear it's best to use water for protein shakes instead of milk because of the carb/sugar content found in milk.

The last time I tried using milk with ON and their chocolate protein mix I about gagged. Only Muscle Milk was I able to use water because it tasted the same with or without milk.

My question is, does using milk matter, especially if I'm trying to lean up? And, does anyone use water with Syntha-6 or ONs Cookies and Cream mix? Also, is it OK to have white bread PWO?

Well, considering how I just started working out and my daily calorie intake was probably 1000 the last few months, lol, I may see lots of weight gain.

I know I can't spot reduce, but I've had a little chub in my stomach for years, even when I used to weigh 140 and I'm 5'9". Trying to get rid of that is a pain.

Yep. The first fat to go on is the last fat to come off. It's ridiculously hard to get that last stubborn area fat to go away. Look into the UD2 diet. It addresses ways to get that last bit off. That is, assuming that's the only fat left you have to get rid of.

I currently weigh about 160 but I still have plenty of fat to get rid of. Stomach area is obvious, and some light flab on my ass. Shouldn't be too hard to get rid of if I eat clean, maintain calories and do cardio.

I don't think white bread is good for anything except tasting like Styrofoam. Find a good whole wheat bread preferably some with fiber and you won;t have to worry about it anymore.

I eat whole wheat but I read you could eat white bread PWO for spiking insulin...not sure if a spike is necessary
