well first off this is my first cutting cycle, i have always just bulked once a year and my bf% would drop back to about 14% before my next bulk cycle. Im 240lbs and right now 15-16% .
I have cut my bulking cycle short because ive got to where i wanted to be and decided to add 2 weeks on to my cycle so i have have 6 weeks left in my cycle to cut. i know alot of people frown on the bulk/cut cycle but i would like to try it. so here goes.
I am currently running
prop 100mg/ed week 9-14
tren a 50mged/ week 9-13
var 75mg/ed week 9-13
i will also run t3/clen for the 6 weeks, with the clen 1 week on 1 week off and tappering the t3 up and down. I havent touched t3 or clen before so im going to play with the dosages first and see how the sides are for me before i start posting what i want to do with them.
so heres the cutting diet i had found/modified
7:30 Morning-1/2 Oat bran,. Also eat about 6-8 egg whites along side oats
9:30 1/2cup of Cottage Cheese, with 1/4cup of almonds
12:00Lunch- Grilled Chicken, 1/2C Brown Rice, broccoli
240 lbs and want to live on less than 1500 calories a day? I am no expert but that is a recipe for illness. Isn't it 1.25 grams of protein per pound body weight to maintain muscle mass? If that is correct then at 171 grams a day you are looking at losing a big chunk of muscle mass with this cut.
I am sure the experts on here will correct my statements if they are not accurate.

no i dont want that....like i said this is my first cutting cycle. obviously i would like to lose as much fat as possible with losing little to no muscle. should i stay at 1-1.5grams of protein per lb?
help please
Yes, all the articles I read and advise I saw on this forum says you need 1-1.25 grams of protein per pound to maintain your muscle mass. So 240-250 grams of Protein should be sufficient. At 240 pounds to maintain your weight you need to eat 3600 calories a day so cutting down to 1500 is insane and could be a health hazard according to my doctor/nutritionist.
The most I would cut back is down to around 2400 calories no less and you will lose fat nicely as long as you keep your carbs low and make sure and have your 250 grams of protein per day.
Again, no one else is responding so I am trying to help however someone like Built or m11 would be great if they chimed in!

Thanks, i really appreciate the help and will come up with a new strategy
Okay, you are carrying about 200 lbs of lean mass, and you wish to get down to 10%, which for you will happen at about 220-225 depending upon how much lean you have/keep/make over the course of your cutter.
To drop the 16 lbs you wish to lose in six weeks, you will need to create a deficit of about 1350 calories a day - in other words, you'll need to run HALF of your maintenance calories in order to achieve this goal.
Ordinary dieting isn't the answer for you here. PSMF would work, or adjust your timeline so you don't have to cut so hard.

Built, are you suggesting he should live on 1350 calories a day for 6 weeks?
SHOULD live on 1350 calories for six weeks? No.
That's just how the math works out to achieve the loss he wants. For this kind of deficit, he'd be well advised to run a PSMF. Otherwise, he'll not only be miserable but he'll lose too much size.
