    Cutting Weight - Light head - Dizzy ??

    I am trying to cut weight this week for a lifting event this weekend.

    I am in my second day folllowing this routine along with eating some light carbs in the morning and protien at noon and evening meals.

    Sunday: 2 gal water, heavy sodium

    Monday: 2 gal water, heavy sodium

    Tuesday: 2 gal water, heavy sodium

    Wednesday: 1 gal of water, cut sodium

    Thursday: cut water and sodium

    Friday morning is weigh ins.

    I was fine all day yesturday and earlier today but I have been feeling light head the last hour or so......any ideas or suggestions?

    Low carbs for extended periods (days) does that to me. Your body is freaking out and trying to tell you to feed it more!

    I don't know your macros, but I'm guessing you're doing a general low-carb as in 100g a day or less. In that case, you're likely not providing enough carbs to act as your primary energy source but you're also not low enough to enter ketosis (something like 20-30g or less). You're in low-carb limbo and have probably been pushing too many straight days on a deficit.

    Why not refeed?
