    Zinc supplement

I stopped taking zinc supplements as they are making me violantly ill. No other supplement does this to me.
I know Zinc is important for muscle and male potency fuel but man does it make me sick.
I did some research and it appears this is not uncommon.
I am going to increase my Salmon intake as it is a good source of Zinc. For a while when I completely stopped taking Zinc I noticed a drop in my sex drive which is not something I want.
Anyone here have issues with Zinc supplements?

How much are you taking?? I take a 50mg zinc pill, cut it in 1/2 which I take each morning with a protein shake. No problems yet.

50mg makes me crunch up in a ball and want to die. I started taking a multi with 5mg and a "male formula" pill with saw palmetto and 15mg of zinc and have no issues. I have never experienced a lack of sex drive tho with or without supps. Maybe related to something else going on.

I'm taking 100 mg before bed and no issues at all. I've heard though that some taking zinc have had issues with it causing a copper deficiency which might have something to do with it. Maybe you need to bump the copper up a bit if you don't get any in your multi or diet.
