    is it enough?

    HI there,
Im just looking for some help with my diet.

I eat about 1300 cals a day on average with approx 30g of fat, 160g carbs and 110g of protien per day.

    I am 5'1 and a quarter and weigh 121lbs

I work out 6 days a week, 2 upper/ 2 lower lifting days and 3-4 sessions of cardio, mostly Hiit.

I was talking about this with a buddy and he kinda freaked out that I wasn't eating enough. And then I started thinking about it later that maybe he is right. I never feel hungry, I eat 5 times a day.

My goals are to lose body fat (I am not sure what its at % wise as I just go by the mirror) and to gain muscle. A man at the gm once commented to me that for how much I am there, I don't have enough lean muscle to show for it.

I am assuming that it has something to do with diet.

    Any suggestions would be awesome!!

Id be a tiny man!! and I don't think a man would mention the quarter lol

    k typical day

breakfast: steel cut oats (.25 c dry)
    1/2 c egg whites with veggies (usually 1/2 c)
1 tbls flaxseed and 1 tbls soy pp

lunch: 4oz of meat - chicken, shrimp, tuna, turkey
and 1-1.5 cups of veggies usually grilled with olive oil and spice

supper: usually a bowl of homemade soup, 4 oz of meat (see above) veggies

2 snacks in the day - fav right now being 1/2 c of ff cottage cheese, mixed with tomatos, mushrooms and cucumbers (sometimes I mix in tuna with the cc)

another snack possible would be a fruit (apple, pear, banana etc) with 3 egg whites or a pumpkin protein muffin (home made - -163 cals, 28 g of protein and 14 carbs)
