    Fat and test

Hello everyone! So I read an article some time ago, that said if a Man is overweight His test levels are cut by 50%. Now it did not say how much overweight, just overweight. Is this true or false?

    Just looking for some opinions.

    Thanks everybody....

50% regardless of how much bodyfat? No.

But aromatase resides in bodyfat. The fatter you are, the more testosterone you will convert to estrogen. HTPA feedback and increased SHBG may further conspire to reduce the amount of bioavailable test in your bloodstream.
Wondering where to start? Confused? "Homework 1" will get you started.

Think you're ready for the "next step"? Take this test.

This is what I was going to say - estrogen becomes a bigger issue for guys carrying lots of bodyfat.

Possibly, but not necessarily. Some men carry high bodyfat and low aromatase. But it's a consideration to be sure.
