Im starting to bulk up a bit and eating a lot of steak, potatoes, chicken, fruit and protein shakes. Im hitting the gym 4-5 days a week and I play basketball 2-3 times a week (not streetball, organized league games.) Now my question is should I still do cardio at the gym or use the basketball running as my running?

I take it your not lifting to gain size but to stay in shape and be athletic. I would use the basketball as your cardio since you dont want it to hence your CNS. TO much cardio will tear you down if you dont watch it. Plus you dont want to be a beam pole/

Since you're trying to gain weight, you DON'T need to do any more cardio. Especially if you're playing basketball 2-3 times a week!
You also don't need to be hitting the gym 4-5 times a week. 3 days a week is plenty! If you're lifting 4-5 days AND playing basketball 2-3 days I guarantee you are over-training and you're going to have a hard time gaining weight, even if you're eating enough.
When you work out with heavy weights you are breaking down muscle fibers (Which is a good thing). But you need to give your body time to rest and grow new muscle tissue bigger and stronger... Otherwise you get nowhere.
