The only time I've heard a description like this it was from someone who found out they were diabetic, they were doing gatorade like mad. I dont suppose that runs in the family does it? She was around 18 at the time.

Or maybe you've just mentall hooked yourself on water? hmm

There have been deaths, brain edema, etc on about 12 L with in a 3 hour period. Plus you can also leach out precious electrolytes that must be replaced.

Our Clients drink 5-6 L a day...and when drinking that much or more...take an Iron-free multi-mineral at night, and a multi-vitamin in the morning!

Rule of thumb, .5 to 1 oz per pound of BW.

Everyone spells it rediculous but its RIDICULOUS!

There was a recent death of a young girl who was force 'fed' a bunch of water for 'therapy' and her brain ended up swelling to the point of death.

Its called water intoxication. Happens mostly to endurance athletes (triathletes, marathon athletes etc) and people on E.

Basically you sweat out a lot of sodium, creating an imbalance in your body, then you drink water and dilute the sodium even more, then you die (i believe it is like Mudge said, your brain just swells up).
