Can anyone help me? I'm lost on this Keto diet............

Okay. I understand that you should have 20g complex carbs until you go into ketosis. Then you can go 30-50 grams.

The "carb-up" part is the part I am confused at. I only do cardio. How often should I do a carb-up? How many grams of carbs should I eat? What do I do on this carb up part? Thanks!

I thought ketosis meant the lack of carbs... like low-carb diets were a part of ketosis...

I think you need to do a little more research on ketosis.

The critical carb level is different for everyone and can change. If you aren't seeing signs of ketosis (i.e. smelly breath, your pee smells horrible, you feel like an 8 year old that just ate skittles) then you can buy test strips at a local drug store. For you to pee on.

It's pretty simple. Try to shoot for damn near zero carbs. lean meats and salad, lean meats and broccoli, Lean meats and salad, lean meats and broccoli....Your carb up days depend on your goals and the duration you went with low/no carbs and your goals. Not to mention your workout routine. There's a few different ways to go about the carb up. I would go out and read the sticky on leptin if you havent.
