It depends on the type of diet you use, and of course personal prefernce to eating.

Personally I do not like low carb diets, I tried it last spring and not only did in not work for me, but I had serious stomach problems.

So, for me I decrease fat and sugars, and lower overall calories.

See I know alot of the diets that w8lifter suggests might work for alot of people, but i know when i tried the whole High protein high fat.. I got insanely sick for two months, now ia m back on a regular diet, low fat... no sugar except natural resources... so not every diet works for every person

    Low fat?

Insanely sick in what way? Vommiting, flu, what?

    What were you eating?

And from what i've seen from leah and andrew, the diets aren't high fat, but moderate fat. When you talk about high fat (unless it's just considered "high" by your own standards) you usually refer to ketosis diets. Not always, but 9 times out of 10 you do.

By the way, "regular" diets are for "regular" people, and just look at the state of 90% of them...
