Even if you're a hard gainer, if you're only training 2x/ week but eating for a heavy bulker every day, you might not be efficiently using all of this new fuel you've added to your diet.

Can you add 1-2 more days of lifting or activity, or scale back your intake - Calories in vs Calories out is pretty much what you're looking at.

That could be part of your problem. I like having a set diet even though I don't follow it strictly - you still need some type of guideline.

If you are eating 5 to 9 meals a day, and only lifting 2x a week, your gonna gain unwanted fat. If I was giving advice to a client I would advise cutting down to 5 small to med small meals a day, and training at least 3 days a week. In my opinion I would train 4 to 5 days a week. You have 24 hours a in a day, I work 10 hrs a day, and still find time to train 5 to 6 days a week. You can do things at your home. I do understand some people just simply do not have time. If you dont have the time, you really need to cut your food intake. just my opinion.

yup, i like to always have a guideline as well... but if gaining is the current goal with a guideline then i will give myself a little more lee way... however if i feel the fat gain is too much i will clean it up for a while.

Yeah, exactly. If I am trying to bulk up I don't add that much. I usually make up for the caloric excess in cheat meals, but it depends. I gained way too much on my last bulk.
