    overtraning, or under nutrition?

hi, although my diet is check, i have heard many claims by BBs that there is no such thing as overtraining only under nutrition, is there any kind of truth in this? i am not talking about eating 200 or 2 500 caloires a day, i tend to eat 22x my body weight in calories and have burned out even eating this amount, but wud you say the more food you eat the less chance you have to overtrain?

Overtraining is real, and can happen even if you eat a lot. Anyone who says there is no such thing as overtraining only undereating is confused.

over-training occurs when the CNS is not allowed to recovery fully from many, many prolonged bouts of high intensity exercise. eventually the brain can not pass the signals to the muscle efficiently which signal them to contract. that being the case one of the very first sign of over-training is either a loss of functional strength or decreased performance in sports.

skeletal muscle always repairs itself significantly faster than does the CNS does after high intensity training. this is where periodization comes into play to prevent CNS burn out and training plateaus.
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

It don't matter how much you eat - you can still over-train.
