    Holidays: To Diet or Not?

Amidst the holiday season, do you maintain your diet through the holidays or do you cheat? Especially over Thanksgiving, I found it difficult to "stay on track"... What methods do you use to overcome those holiday pounds?

I cheated about 3 days in one week for Thanksgiving LOL! Thank god for N2Slin though.

But it could be ok to cheat as long as you're in range of your bulking/cutting calories, no?

I don't diet on holidays. I plan for 'em. I call them "natural disasters" and plan my training and diet around them - bulking or cutting.

Nobody's fat because they overate on Thanksgiving. They're fat because they overeat. Period.
Wondering where to start? Confused? "Homework 1" will get you started.

Think you're ready for the "next step"? Take this test.

I've been cutting for a week and a half now, and am going to early- to mid-January with it. Granted, I'm in Canada, so our Thanksgiving was in October, but December is still usually a month of over-eating. I don't care, it's just food. Besides, I have my refeeds. I'll plan one for Christmas, and just break the fat/carb ratio a bit. No biggy.

I'm coming in to the new year leaner but stronger (making PRs on a cut is sweeeeeet) and ready for 5/3/1.

Dude we all all deserve a day or two off every now and then. Reward yourself but get right back on your diet plan asap. Hell I couldn't resist my grandmother's rootbeer float after thanksgiving dinner. Did it set me back? Nope! I still lost weight that week.
