Question How long is too long???

It always takes me a little extra time to eat my meals. So how long is too long???

    Example:

4:00 pm started eating my tuna, finished about 4:25... 4:25 started eating my apple, finished about 4:55.

Is that too long? Should I wait 3 hrs to eat again from the time I finished my meal???

    Thanks!
    ~Ann

I always start counting time from the time I finish my meal...although taking an hour to eat a can of tuna and an apple could change this practice

I count from the beginning...so if I eat every 3 hrs, I'd go 7am, 10am, 1pm, etc...although it would never take me an hr to eat a can of tuna and an apple

I don't think it matters much as long as you're consistent, assuming you take approximately the same amt of time to eat each meal.

I know it seems like a long time but when you are sitting in front of the computer trying to work and eat things you need both hands for... well, it just takes longer

Thanks for the input w8 and FF!!!

You may find it more relaxing...and a nice break for the computer screen...to sit back and take 10 minutes to enjoy your lunch...not only will it avoid taking an hour to eat but it will mentally refresh you so that the time you spend at your computer will be more productive.....just an opinion...that is what I did when I was working at an accounting firm.

I think the amount of cortisol released from you worrying about this is causing you more problems...

I would think an apple would be pretty gross after sitting around for half an hour.
