Lately I've been hitting up the beef short ribs and the lamb shanks. Brown 'em up a bit with pepper, toss 'em in with caramelized onions, some garlic, lemon juice, oregano and basil, seasalt, and forget about it. Come home and the place smells like Heaven. Winter is crock-pot season.

Venison- and as a bonus, dragging a deer over half a mile, up hill, through the woods maybe the most fatiguing cardio you'll experience.

Venison was pretty much the only meat I ate growing up. It was very common for friends to share during deer season, and we had a big freezer. Only time I ate regular steak or ribs was in restaurants.

Since my bulk/1st cycle started 6 weeks ago, my dinner 5 nights a week is a big 16-18oz, 1-1.5 inch thick top sirloin. $3.99lb @ costco. I believe it has tremendously helped my weight and weights go up every week since then.

Really? I like a little bit of ground green and white peppercorns, ground sea salt, and ground/powdered chipotle peppers. Tastes phenomenal.

And I really like lamb shoulder steaks; it's the same price per pound as flank at my grocer so I usually go with a few lbs of the lamb should nom nom.

And I meant to start my own thread, but do you guys think that it's worth buying 95/5 ground beef at $1 to $1.20 MORE per pound over 90/10 ground beef if you were, for example, to cook them on a foreman, grill, or broiler? IMO, I would rather go with the 90/10 and save the cash and I can't eat chicken tit all the time though it's the cheapest protein source I have

My wife surprised my with Filet Mignon yesterday. I broiled in on a broiler petit with a few spices, but not a lot. Very nice treat. 12.99 a pound. Crazy. She bought a Serloin for today. Oh yeah, baked potatoes with sour cream, too. Haven't had sour cream in ages.
