UD 2.0 and Intermittent Fasting (Built chime in please?)

I know some of you follow intermittent fasting. I have for about a year myself. I'm also aware that a few of you follow UD 2.0 when cutting weight. My question is do you stick to fasting while doing the UD 2.0 diet or do you follow the UD 2.0 diet verbatim? I was considering doing a combination of both, basically following UD 2.0 but fasting in between.

    No.

If you're following UD 2.0, then follow UD 2.0. Don't play mix and match. Lyle sets up his diets a specific way for a specific reason.

I see no reason why you could not apply IF to UD2.0. You may need to extend the feeding window a bit for the carbup, but that's about it.

Thanks Built. That is what I was thinking. If anything intermittent fasting might help with the insulin sensitivity. Just because he set it up for a specific reason doesn't mean there aren't areas for improvement. Why is it called UD 2.0. Why didn't he just stop at UD or Bodyopus? Because there were areas for improvement.
