    Dietary needs during 1-Test "cycle"

    I'm currently wrestling with a small nutritional question:

    I will be doing a 1-Test cycle for the next 4 weeks (400mg/day for a 160 lbs individual,
    25 years of age, not very "testosteronicy" from nature out).

    Would you reckon I keep my diet (2450 cals/day, 50 prot/25 carb/ 25 fat) or change it up a bit (in what way?)
    Caloric count is based on W8's formula, just trying to gain as much size on this as possible without turning into a blimp

    I'm currently at 17-18% BF according to my Tanita scale. (max that I'm willing to go).

    I screwed up my last cycle a bit thanks to a twisted wrist and having my wisdom-teeth removed (two weeks of agony),
    so I'll double my dosage (120 caps - 100mg/cap) and take Tribestan afterwards for 4 weeks.

    Please help! I don't want to be 160 lbs no more!

    You spoke of last cycle..what did it consist of? Most people get leaner while on 1-test. I will post you a copy from Avant's web site that tells what to do!! And can you get 6-oxo or MN formastat?? Seeing where you live I assume It's not legal. I know how you can get it shipped no problem. Those two really are the best post cycle supps you can take. 1-test will supress your natural test and these will help elevate it back to normal quickly, helping you maintain your gains lots better than any trib product!!

    Diet


    For maximum results, increase protein intake to 1.5 to 2g per pound of bodyweight, depending on if you go with the moderate or hard-core dosing. If you are on a mass phase, increase calories to 20-25 calories per pound. This is not the best way to test the product, as the additional calories would increase weight and muscle gain on their own, but you WILL NOT get optimal results unless you do this.

    Just to update this, pretty much everyone seems to be getting LEANER while taking this, leading me to believe that it either supports large intakes of food, people are not eating enough, or both -- so make sure you are eating ALOT.



    Workouts


    Because muscle contraction upregulates androgen receptors and because natural testosterone levels are a non-issue, high volume training is best with androgens -- and because you will be recovering MUCH more quickly, I suggest even HIGHER volume.

    If you typically do something even resembling HIT, I suggest you AT LEAST double your volume. Even if you already train with fairly high volume, increase it by at least 50%, and you could probably even double it.

    In my opinion, if you are on the high moderate to high dosing and on a mass phase, and you are not spending at least 7 hours in the gym per week, you are quite likely undertraining.

    Chemisport (MRM) .. one bottle from my previous attempt, one I ordered "extra" ..
    I'm going with dg on the dosing here, 100mg/day won't do anything for me at 25 y/o.

    I was really looking forward to test-driving this thing (maybe y'all remember?),
    but being dispatched out of the country or cracking your wrist wouldn't allow me to go "full-out" ,
    so I held it off till after the agony. Seems to be ok by now (knocks wood).

    Good tribulus products are hard to come by here, even ordered through british customs .. ah well.
    TCD, you don't see anything wrong with the 50/25/25 ratio? (I can stick to 25% carbs, no prob,
    but it's just way low because I don't want to sacrifice any protein!). Won't this hamper my growth?

    DG, please forward that link, I've read a lot about the product and it's effects, but nothing about complimentary measurements

    Is that chemisport stuff oral yeah? What is the serving? caps or syringe?

    Oral caps, 100mg 60 per bottle. I tried it and at 200mg per day didn't get anything that I felt was more than normal gains. So I figure if I spent $300 then maybe I would have had better gains form higher doses

    The lowest dose I heard of taking is 300mg(what pat suggests) and i took 600mg/day. Some do 900mg/day!

    i like the same ratio as chicken daddy for muscle gains. I still stick to my guns for the price off prohormones u could actuely do real gear. Not to mention get real results with it. My feelings on prohormes are iffy at best. If you wat awsome gains do gear dont get all the sides without the effects.

    I've decided to grow as much as I can "naturally" before even thinking about AS.
    Since I'm only 25, that'll be a minimum of 5 years full-on training/eating.

    If I'm still under 175 by then .. hell yes!

    But I prolly won't (needle-fear and weak liver).

    Dude you need to keep up to date with this stuff. Maybe back in the day with the very first pro-hormones coming out, you would get all the side effects with crap LBM gain. But from my most recent research stuff like 4-ad and 1-test gives steroid like LBM gains (assuming you are doing everything else right), without all the side effects you get from stuff like straigh test. These PH's don't aromatize so you won't get bitch tits etc.

    and best of all they are legal (for now).

    Allright! Quick update.

    So I'm three weeks down the road, 400mg/day (double recommended).

    At this point I've gained 6 lbs, same BF% (nothing spectacular).
    What I do notice is that I look a lot "bigger/fuller" than before.

    Also, I found a large increase in strength during the third week.
    Suprisingly, I felt or saw any effects the first two weeks,
    but today I'm glad I sticked with the diet (mostly) and with the P,RR,S gopro put out.

    I've gone up 15lbs on incline DB press (per side!), about 20lbs on flat bench.
    Squat stayed pretty much the same (must be my form inhibiting progress there,
    because leg presses are trough the roof), deadlift went up from 310 to 355. Yay me!

    I'm hoping to see some more gains towards the end of the month, and will be starting to take my Tribulus tomorrow,
    unless you guys/gals tell me otherwise.

    So far, a very successful experiment

    Next on PreacherVision: my Dbol/DECA cycle! (just kidding, just kidding ..)

    You gained what seems like 6lbs in 3 weeks without adding any fat. Do you realise how unlikely that scenario is for a natural trainer who ain't a new lifter?

    Considering there's a guy in our gym who put on 25 lbs in 8 weeks .. All natural ,
    I would say 6 lbs is nothing spectacular. It's nice, and it's a big step towards that 175 I'm currently aiming for.

    I was hoping for a little less soreness the day after training due to increased recovery,
    but logic dictated "use bigger weight, feel more pain" ..

    Ah well, 7 days to go and I feel it was all worth my while.
    I surely surprised myself with the amount of force I could generate with basically the same body ..
